What is your role & how long have you been with Layer 2 Computers?
I am the lead tech and founder of Layer 2 Computers. I started in 2007 doing work for friends and family, I guess that means 17 years!
What inspired you to pursue a career in tech support?
I have always enjoyed technology and the family lore says I was using CTRL+ALT+DEL on an old IBM computer before I could talk.
Are there any memorable moments or experiences from your career that you'd like to share?
I LOVE that moment when something finally works after a long troubleshooting session.
Do you have any favorite tools or software that you use at work?
I am a big believer that we should use everything that we sell and recommend to our clients. 1 great little program I love and use daily is Lightshot for creating good screenshots that I can mark up on.
Tell us about life outside of work
I enjoy spending time with my family (Wife and son), we have 2 dogs (Nigel and Dunkin), fish (All Red - named by our son), and a parrot named Sophie!
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I like to read, play video games with my friends and tinker with technology.
What's your favorite travel destination or dream vacation spot?
We like to go on crazy adventures, I think our next one is going to be on a small sailing ship somewhere in the Mediterranean.
Are there any books, movies, or TV shows you're currently enjoying or recommend?
I read a lot of business books since I find them fascinating, my favorite author is Mike Michalowicz
