When one of our techs moved into their first home, they didn’t waste any time turning one of the rooms into the ultimate home office/gaming hub. With remote support work during the day and heavy gaming sessions at night, this space needed to function on two fronts—and look good doing it.
The setup includes:
- Dual custom-built gaming PCs: One for him, one for his wife—because teamwork doesn't stop at co-op mode.
- Clean cable management: Power cords, ethernet cables, monitor connections, and peripherals all tucked away and routed behind the scenes for a clean, clutter-free space.
- Multi-monitor arrangement: Screens are placed with both comfort and function in mind, whether it’s fixing client systems or raiding dungeons.
- Seamless switching: Devices are wired and arranged to make swapping between work and play frictionless.
- Hardwired connections: Ethernet was a must for lag-free gaming and stable remote access.
It’s the perfect blend of professional productivity and geeked-out fun—and a great example of how thoughtful cable management and layout can make a small home setup feel like a well-oiled machine.
