October is Computer Learning Month. It is a time to try new ways of using technology and to learn new technology products. Computer Learning Month is for those who have difficulty working with computers, or just need a little refresher to learn what they can do for us. The first Computer Learning Month was held in October of 1987.
During this month many local libraries and other community facilities will offer free classes on things like How to Maintain Your Home Computer for Beginners, Windows Tips and Tricks, and Tips and Tricks to Stay Safe Online.
Today we do everything on our computers, such as online banking, scheduling appointments, and doing research. It is important to not be left behind as computers are here to stay! Use this month as a reminder to look for local computer classes to better your skills. Sam, Nick and I would be more than happy to come to you to provide education and answer any questions you may have about computers, internet, programs, etc. If you feel like you need additional knowledge on anything IT related, please call us at 937-660-4899.
