This laptop REALLY called it quits!

When a laptop battery decides it’s time to go, it doesn’t always go quietly. One of our customers dropped off a machine that had gone full meltdown—rapid battery expansion fried the internals beyond repair. The system was completely toasted.

We were able to pull the drive, but unfortunately, it was protected by BitLocker and without the recovery info, there was no way to access the data. As much as we hate delivering bad news, this one couldn’t be saved.

The good news? We helped the customer pick out a solid replacement, got it all set up, and added our Virus-Free PC Protection to keep it running clean and secure. So while it was a rough start, the end result is a safe, reliable machine that won’t risk starting a fire and doesn’t come with any leftover baggage.
