Create New MS365 Global Admin Account

This will go over on how to create a new Global Administrator Account for Layer 2 Computer so we can manage, maintain, and license the accounts.

  1. Login to Microsoft 365 admin center with your current admin account.
  2. Click on Users > Active users > Add a user
  1. This will open a prompt for more information on the Set up the basics page. Fill this in like the image below then click Next:
  1. Select Create user without product license (not recommended) then click Next.
  1. Under Optional Settings select Admin center access then check all the boxes below that. Click Next.
  1. On the Review and finish screen click Finish adding
  2. You should then see a screen that says ‎Layer2 Computers‎ added to active users. At that point we will get an email with the admin credentials to our support@layer2computers.com account.
