Goal: This will allow you to set the default PDF viewer/file opener as Adobe Acrobat.
- Click on the start button and type "Choose a default app for each type of file."
- Scroll down in the list and find ".pdf" and click "Chose a default"
- Select Adobe Acrobat Reader
- You may need to either logout and log back into your computer or reboot if you are able to do that.
Your computer should then associate .pdf files with your newer version of Acrobat Reader.
