OpenVPN - How to Remove a Configuration File

This will walk you through how to remove an old configuration file from your computer so it doesn't show up. Make sure you make a note of the working VPN configuration name. You can follow the steps below to delete all configuration files that are not needed.

  1. Launch open VPN
  1. Right click on the OpenVPN icon next to where the click is and click on Settings
  1. Click on the Advanced tab at the top and note the configuration path
  1. Use file explorer to find the path and delete the configuration folder you do not want to use
