Proofpoint - Understanding The Digest

You will get an email digest every morning in your inbox. This will go over everything you need to know about and how to use the digest.

  1. Open up the email digest and it will look something like this.
  1. These are messages that the system as prevented from automatically going in to your email inbox for one reason or another. You have 4 options to the left side.
    1. Preview - You can see the message to see the body of the email.
    2. Release - This allows the message through the filter and to enter in your inbox. One time for that sender.
    3. Release & Approve - This allows the message through the filter and to enter in your inbox and adds the sender to your safe sender list in Proofpoint so it is never blocked again.
    4. Block - This blocks the senders emails from getting to your inbox. This is great for spam you don't want to see.

Note: You do NOT need to remove them from the digest email, they will be auto cycled off that list after 30 days.
